On September 20, 2023, the second ahead X Community Event took place at the Circle in Zurich. This event, designed specifically for our customers, was all about collaboration, knowledge sharing and a sneak peek into ahead's exciting product roadmap.
Promoting networking: Networking and knowledge sharing
The main goal of the afternoon was to provide a platform for our customers to network and share their experiences and insights in the field of internal communications. In various sessions, experts from different organizations and industries discussed their challenges in internal communications and shared different approaches and best practices.
Recognizing excellence: ahead Awards
A highlight of the day was the presentation of the ahead Awards in two categories: "Most Active ahead Intranet" and "Best Onboarding Campaign". These awards honored customers who have shown exceptional commitment and innovation in optimizing their internal communications.
Best Onboarding Campaign: congratulations to Variosystems for their remarkable onboarding campaign that attracted 70% of employees to use the employee app in just 3 months. "We are in a transformation and growth phase. The ahead solution allows us to take our 2500 employees, spread over three continents, on this journey," explains André Bättig, CIO at Variosystems.
Most active ahead intranet: The second award winner shows how high the interaction between employees can be when intranet is fun: At the medtech company Medartis, almost 97% of the worldwide employees use the app regularly. "The ease of use and the interfaces to important documents and collaboration tools have had a positive impact on productivity at our company, which is why it is used so intensively," says Fabian Hildbrand, Head Corporate Communications at Medartis and winner of the ahead award 2023 for the most active community. A look into the future: What's in the making at ahead
CEO and founder Pascal Grossniklaus gave the attendees a glimpse into the future and introduced some new features that will further support our customers in internal communication.
