In September, our ahead X Community Event took place for the third time at the Circle in Zurich - a day full of dialogue, valuable insights and exciting discussions. Around 60 people, of which 40 customers, attended and took the opportunity to learn from each other and share their experiences with our platform.

One highlight was the presentation of the ZHAW trend study, presented by Katharina Krämer and Prof. Dr. Nicole Rosenberger Staub. This was followed by a lively panel discussion on the topic of ‘Artificial intelligence in everyday communication’. In a second panel discussion, we also looked at how to better reach and engage non-desk employees.

In addition to the technical content, there was plenty of room for direct dialogue between customers. Our customers appreciated this opportunity to share their best practices and learn from each other.

Our CEO and founder Pascal Grossniklaus also gave an exciting insight into the ahead roadmap and our plans to integrate AI into new features to create even more impact for our customers. Our customers also had the opportunity to evaluate the latest feature releases and contribute their ideas on what topics we should tackle in the next 12 months.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the ahead Awards. The jury, consisting of ahead's own Michael Trummer, Chief Customer Officer and Andrin Soppelsa, Head of Customer Success and Operations, as well as Nathalie Eggen, Managing Director at JUNE Corporate Communications and Dr. Sabine Williams, Head of Communications at SR Technics Switzerland evaluated on two categories: the best onboarding campaign and the most active ahead intranet. The Hälg Group won in the ‘Best Onboarding Campaign’ category for its multi-channel campaign, which included gamification and engagement elements. The involvement of the C-level in the communication concept as well as the high level of commitment of the project team contributed to a sustainable anchoring of ahead Intranet in the organisation. Sabine Ritz, Project Manager Marketing and Communication, and Tamara Bosshard, Head of Marketing and Communication and CSR Officer at Hälg Group, are convinced:

"The integration of companies is a central component of our growth strategy. The ahead intranet makes a decisive contribution to ensuring that new colleagues quickly feel part of the Hälg family, regardless of their place of work or language region."

Two winners were honoured in the ‘Most active ahead intranet’ category: Flughafen Zürich AG and Confiserie Sprüngli.

Bettina Kunz, Head of Corporate Communications at Flughafen Zürich AG, appreciates the fact that the new intranet can now also reach non-desk workers reliably and quickly thanks to the app.

Confiserie Sprüngli sees the added value of the new mobile-first intranet solution particularly in the smooth communication for the entire company: ‘Finally, all our employees are connected via our interactive intranet.", says Jonas Manthey, HR Business Partner at Confiserie Sprüngli.

We would like to thank all participants for an inspiring day and are already looking forward to the next community event!
