An innocuous checkbox will allow you to restrict who can see your private News.
news that are private and you can see will be labelled as such
is now also available for news. Note that this feature only becomes available if you have a newly created permission. The invaluable help on this feature puts it this way:
"We've intentionally limited this permission to a small group of people to avoid the overuse of private news. We strongly believe that ahead should provide a platform for open and transparent communication. 🙌"
