What do users get notifications about?

ahead will send an in-app notification to a user when:

• Someone comments on a Page or News they published
• Someone comments on a Story image, thought or connection to the Compass they posted
• Someone replies to their comment
• A News post is published on a channel they follow
• A News post targeted to an audience they belong to is published

Additionally, News can also be set to notify users by email, in the Target audience section.

As a side note, notifications remain accessible in the notifications center for 14 days, after which they disappear. The maximum amount of notifications that can be displayed at once is 20.
