Licensing ahead (annual costs)
The ahead licensing model is based on the individual user level. It does not matter which device a user accesses ahead with. This means that both private and business smartphones/tablets or laptops/PCs can be used for access.
- •Number of users: The number of employees in an organization is used as the basis for calculation. Adjustments can be made annually. Adjustments during the year will only be made if the deviation exceeds 10% of the licensed users.
- •Premium features: In addition to user-based licensing (basic), there are additional features available for a fee. This licensing is independent of the number of users and is activated globally by ahead AG.
- •Maintenance, operation, and support are already covered by the annual costs.
Onboarding costs (one-time)
The ahead team supports customers with the technical, organizational, and content-related implementation of the ahead solution. We offer various onboarding packages for this purpose.
When will the service fee be charged?
The service fee is charged annually in advance. Use, updates, operation, and support (for all editors directly from the app) are included in the service fee.
Delimitation
- Exclusive migration and configuration of Microsoft Office 365
- The customer is responsible for the correct licensing of Microsoft Office 365.
How is support billed?
The subscription model includes unlimited support for all editors.
Is the licensing model technically verified and enforced?
No technical restrictions are imposed in the area of user-based subscription models (user subscription). License parameters are checked periodically in accordance with the contractual agreement.
Number of users
The effective number and user type are part of the contractual agreement. ahead does not impose any technical restrictions. The decisive factor is the number of users who can access ahead (regardless of actual usage).
The effective number of users is agreed upon by the contracting parties for the following year prior to contract renewal.
As long as changes in the number of users during the year are within +/- 10% of the agreed number of users, no subsequent billing/refund will be made.
